Poems about bullying are a really unique thing in that you don't want to dwell in negativity, but you must also understand that the psyche around the idea of being bullied can get depressing at times. We hope you come back often and checkout our poem collection. If you have any bullying poems that you would like to submit to BulliedGirl.com we would be happy to accept, review, and publish.
We've had a lot of people ask if they could get these poems bundled up in a book and so many of the poems, scenarios, and ideas about bullying on this website have been put togethere in a paperback book. The cost is $5.95 and the book is available on either Createspace.com or Amazon.com.
Easier said than done, I understand this, however, you must try to remain focused on the good points in your life, and create more of these good points in your life. Do not allow yourself to dwell in negativity. That being said, there are some poems on here that are quite negative, if you find yourself in a negative mood, it may be best to stay away from these, and just focus on the positive poems here.
There may be no greater friend in this time of need than a good solid plan as to how to deal with bullying. This poem expresses the notion of a good plan and the review of it. Take heed to the words here as they may help.
It can be very hard to ask for help in trying times, but if you are being bullied, you need to enlist the help of all those around you to support you and help shine a light on this problem. Do not go this path alone. We all need help now and then, the sooner you ask and get more minds involved in your problem, the quicker it can be resolved.
We've all had butterflies in our stomach and some have been forced to tolerate them changing into birds... not so fun when anxiety of situations runs amock. This poem is an expression of these stomach churning feelings.
Too serious to be, is what you and I see, but there's another world now and just because someone is powerful in one, does not mean they are in both, but beware this path you ponder to tread... remember the 5 R's of bullying
, don't forget them.
I always hated when people said "Sticks and stones may break my bones..." It was as if they never experienced what it was like to be on the wrong side of a bully. So, having worked the site for a bit now, I came up with the rest of the poem.
A short poem, but one that I hope packs a punch.
One of the most damaging things that can happen in one's life is to be caught up in lies, either the giving, or the receiving end. We must be vigilant in our adherence to truth, as best we can. This poem is about the viciousness that can be had by lying.
I think this is something we all experience now and again. I think it almost acts as a check to see if you are ready for the next challenge, or the next level of challenge. Most of my poems are rhyming poems and this is none the different.
I really like this poem in that is shows a sensitivity. I also appreciated the flow of the poem and the rhyme steps.
A friend of mine, just recently said "Don't let them get your goat" and I was instantly transported back to when my parents use to say this to me, so I figured I would write a poem about it.
I know it's hard, but possibly you are thinking about forgivness the wrong way. Take a second and read this poem about forgiveness and maybe it will help resolve some issues with this word, or possibly not and the poem itself is completely out of line, either way, it is what it is.
An infrequent free verse poem, rather lengthy, more so than what my poems usually are. There is a french movie of the same title and I felt the word alone suitable for a poem.
To say I've never felt like a coward would be great, but it is something I am unable to say. Most all of us have had times when we wish our courage would have been stronger in the face of adversity, whatever the type of adversity, but sometimes a cowardly action comes forth. Of course there is always the question of if the battle, whatever battle it may be, was worth it and rather than cowardice, it was a sense of desire to avoid a difficult, unneeded situation. The mind is an amazingly intricate thing and what may appear cowardly is rather a calculated chess move to keep one from stressing out too much, but then is the stress of no action more unbearable, and for a longer period of time, than summing up the courage to deal with the situation at hand; complexities to deep for a simple poem so I chose to concentrate on the feeling and effect alone.
It is seemingly an easier way out, but would it not be better to stand fast no matter the pain, no matter the searing heat, and remain true in our desire for life and commitment to excellence. It is these thoughts that poems such as bullycide derive from. Although it may seem dark, please remember that with everything, there are seasons, and although you may be in winter now, it too shall pass.
Another short, but to the point poem.
Not for the bullied, but rather the bullying, this poem is about the later on in life when nobody cares about you because you've been such a jerk to all around you.
I think my favorite line in this poem is "mathematical more".
It seemed befitting to me to have something of a greek tragedy represented here. Don't let your's become one, but rather allow this poem to reflect upon it for you, as you move on through your journey of self discovery and growth.
Although I am no longer a teen, I hope this poem expresses some of my teen thoughts and mindset. It's funny because there are days that I still feel like an angst ridden teen. :)
Sometimes someone shows up, like a knight in shining armor, come to save the day. These are the Anti Bullies!
The origin of this idea came while working on the images for Ada, Legend of a Healer
, but soon grew into its own sort of thing and felt strong enough about the idea to continue on with some more graphics as well as to create a poem for it.
Remember when it was the case that if someone wanted to bully you, they would just prank call you and I guess, looking back the best part about it was, only two people knew. Now with the internet and social networks it all changes and people can say cruel and hate-filled words to their hearts content; for all to see, and for one to be damaged. So a poem for the cyber bully and the crushing effect it can have.
An interesting poem to me for a multitude of reasons. The idea that we live under a mothers wing and there is a time that some are forcefully ejected from its comfort, even if it doesn't feel like we are ready.
An interesting poem when you're no-one like me.
How often do we all say something and then not follow with our actions? For kids it is even worse what was once said will quickly be replaced by the reality of action. It was once said that when words loose their meaning, people lose their freedom and such is the case in a microcosm environment like highschool. The poem speaks to this effect and hopes to provide yet another reference of how crucial it is that words and actions remain in-sync, especially in the case of adults that a child has reached out to for help. If we say we are going to be there to help, then we must be there to help.
After researching the definition of the word bully I was shocked to find out that way back when it meant something entirely different. Granted there are many words that have changed their meaning over the years, but to me, none so quite as prominent and different as bully, and so a poem to sum up the change that has occurred with this word.
And as you think there is only one person causing you angst, some heckler shows up to make matters worse. 9 times out of 10 this person doesn't even know what's going on, they just see some pain being thrown about and want some part of it. This poem is about those who mimic the actions of angry, ignorant people.
This poem was written by someone who was forced to write poetry so as to at least try the experience of writing.
This poem was written for Google and its ability to sift through the entire web and figure out what is what out there. It is a poem of Searching and a poem of bullying, about bullies, cyber-bullies, and all other types of bullying that I can't even begin to think of.
May we all experience a brighter day, at least now and then and hopefully there is something in this poem to do just that.
I spent many a year in school feeling like just a hideous beast, but eventually we move beyond it and start caring about things that really matter. This poem is an expression of that.
Ah statistics. And even more so the idea of quantifying something like bullying through statistics. I'm continuing to research bullying statistics, but it is a really hard thing to find really sound data. And thus this poem about bullying statistics.
A poem about those who wish to remain calm and not fight, only because a monster lurks underneath. Some who do not fight back do so because they are pacificts. Others who do not fight back do so because they are afraid of the damage they will cause. This poem is about the second group of people.
No matter who you are, or where you've been, we've all experienced being alone. Sometimes this can be a good thing, something that provides a bit of peace, but at other times we really need communication with others. This poem expresses one facet of the feeling of being alone.
More of a questioning of where one's mind is at than a specific instance of bullying. We have one mind, most of the time, and we should all be careful of what we allow that mind to dwell on, and thus the bullying poem Forlorn.
A constant in everyone's life is change. However, there are some circumstances that make change pressing, or difficult for some and this can lead to more stress and anxiety in these times. This poem is about change
Although nothing is ever the same, it can really feel like it, especially as a teen when the perception of time is that it is very slow moving, what may be only a miserable week, can seemingly be a vast chasm of time where each ticking second gongs the gong of pain in one's mind. It's all the same hopes to express this in a poetic verse.
